Along your Vermitrench place or dig in slightly, blocks with the holes vertically aligned. Add food scraps to the empty hole in the block then cover with a stone or lid. Redworms from the vermitrench with move into the block and consume the food scraps until nothing is left then retreat back into the vermitrench. Add as many blocks as needed to match your food scraps production and add a little extra length to your vermitrench for each block. Set the whole system on contour for optimal hydration. Redworms populations in the trench will naturally ebb and flow based on the amount of available lignan in the foodscraps and woody materials in the vermitrench.
